Doonside Rezoning

We invite you to engage with us and learn more about the proposed Rezoning of the Doonside Precinct (Planning Scheme Amendment C223) at 81-95 Burnley Street and 26-34 Doonside Street, Richmond from Industrial 3 Zone to the Mixed Use Zone.

The 1.3 hectare (approx) site, known as the ‘Harry the Hirer’ site (formerly the ‘Repco’ site) fronts Burnley Street and extends along Doonside Street to the north to Appleton Street to the south.

We act on behalf of the landowner who is committed to engaging with the local Richmond community in a meaningful and effective way regarding the proposed rezoning of the site.

This website has therefore been prepared to supplement Council’s formal Exhibition of Amendment C223 and provide you with further information on the proposal, relevant background documents, and dates for a landowner-led drop-in information session.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION TOPICS

The landowner-led engagement drop-in site tour is separate from Yarra City Council’s formal exhibition of Amendment C223. To provide a formal submission in response to this Scheme Amendment, please submit through Council’s website.

The landowner-led drop-in site tour will be held on site Saturday 12th October 2019 between 10am-1pm. Please feel free to pop in during this time if you’d like to hear from the proponent about the proposed rezoning. During the drop-in site tour, we will provide you with an opportunity to walk the site with members of the team. No registration is required to attend the drop-in tour.
